Hello Filmi Freaks, after a longwait, finally we are up with an all new exciting game, ‘Filmi Napoleon’...Khel Filmi Patto Ka. You may have played this game in your childhood as ‘Napoleon’. If you have, then itseasy for you,if you haven’t,it will be easier.

(We thought of giving credit to ‘Napoleon’ so that we are not sued for ‘Copyright’)

This is a joint venture by Don,Hardik and Nilay!

Filmi Napoleon - Game Rules

Rules Are Declared:

Ok Folks…
Here are Rules and Regulations a bit in detail again, for u to understand thoroughly..

Well, this is  'Filmi Napoleon'. In this game, some movies are decided. These movies' amount is same as the players' game. (e.g. if 5 players are playing, 5 movies will be decided for the game. e.g. Sholay, Lagaan, KHNH, Andaz Apna Apna & Dil)

There are four cards from every movie: Actor, Actress, Music Director and Director. (that is 20 total cards for 5 players, which would be randomly distributed in the beginning of the game)

Now, the players have to make a full movie set containing its actor, actress, music director and director. The person who makes any movie first, is declared  'Filmi Napoleon'. (e.g. If any of the player gets all cards actor, actress, director and music director of Sholay, he/she wins)

Ok. Now how will he/she collect all the cards? Simple, one member will demand a particular card (plain guess for the first time) from any of the rest member. (e.g. Yash, Please gimme the card  ‘Actress – Madhuri Dixit – Dil’). If that player is having that card, (i.e. Yash having ‘Actress – Madhuri Dixit – Dil’ Card), he will say 'Jahapanah, Tussi Great Ho, Card kubool karo' and again 1st player's turn is there. And now he/she can demand any other card from any other player or from same player. But…..If the player from whom the card is demanded, is not having that card, he/she will say: 'Ja ja garibo ke Tusshar Kapoor' and his/her turn comes.

In this process, players would know that this card was demanded and it is now with this person. Or this card was demanded from this person, but he declined so he/she is not having this card. Players would try to memorize those cards for their better chance while guessing. Also, they would know that this particular person is demanding this movie’s cards, so he wants to make pair of these movies, and so he must be having some other cards of that movie, which is not disclosed. However, it’s not compulsory that he/she would be having that card, he/she might be just a fan of that movie for a change.


Ok, Another question: who will be the first guesser? well, in the beginning, a general bollywood question will be asked to all and the person who answers first, will be having first turn and he/she would be given chance to demand the first card. (Fastest finger first kind, FF members are very much familiar to such rule... )


Simple, Isn’t It??


No, there is a twist rule. Which is just made to make this game not as simpler as it seems.

Twist rule is applied only on one situation.

A person demands Music Director card from any other person, (e.g. Yash demands ‘Music Director – Shankar Ehsan Loy – KHNH’ card from Binish) and the person is having that card. (i.e. Binish says ‘Jahapanah, Tussi Gr8 ho, Card Kubul Karo’, and gives the card to Yash). The game will be immediately paused for some moments. And TWIST rule will be applied. Now we will see the alphabetical order of Players. (e.g. Yash, Binish, Chahat, Fizz and Divs sir are playing.. the order will be Binish, Chahat, Divs sir, Fizz and Yash). Now, first person will pass any card to second person in knowledge of only the Host. And second person will pass any card/similar card to third person and so on until the circle is complete. (in our case Binish passes a card to Chahat, chahat passes to Divs sir, Divs Sir passes to Fizz, Fizz passes to Yash, and Yash passes to Binish)

Then again, the game continues… Though, now players don’t know which card is passed and thus they might make mistake guessing them while demanding. For continuing the game, the player who last got the Music Director’s card, will continue. (in our above given example, Yash will continue demanding card)

I will again say, This all will happen secretly. not openly at all. Only host would be knowing which card is passed.

Ok, so when any person who collects all 4 cards of any movie, host will declare that he/she is the winner- Filmi Napoleon.

After every 5 games, between those 5 winners, a finale will be played. Winner of which game will be called  ‘Napoleon of The Season’ -


After 5 such seasons, between those 5 ‘Napoleon of The Seasons’ a grand finale would be played, winner of which would be declared‘Godfather of The Napoleon’.-


Now, the prize part, All ‘Napoleons of The Seasons’ and ‘Godfather of The Napoleon’ will get some surprise gifts. (Mostly DVDs as we are Filmi Freaks, we would love that)
